Better late than never
For a long time, the PubliCie made every effort to make the (now former) chairman one write a piece for the blog. Fortunately, this eventually happened! Just before the end the document was submitted during his board year. In order to do justice to the style of the whole process, we have made the decision to to post this piece, to give you all the same wonderful experience that we do also had. Kisses, PubliCie.
Dear members,
I have been asked to write a chair, so this is the first chair on the blog and also the last one you will read from me. The JAV (annual general meeting) is coming namely back on. At the AAR several important things are discussed such as the budget and the KB's policy plan. It is important that the members have a say in this because the board is there to keep the association going but also for you. The JAV is also there to check whether the board has acted correctly and whether the desired results have been achieved.
So it is important that as many members as possible come to the JAV so that everyone can make their voice heard. In the past year we (the board) have managed the association with pleasure and our best for the members done. This takes a lot of time. To ease the task of the board, you can join a committee or run a bar service. The committees are there to perform tasks of the board. With several committees filled with enthusiastic members make many hands light work. A committee does not have to not to cost much time at all but you give the association a lot in return. Also a few running bar services every year greatly helps the board.
Next year we will of course climb again. So come all climb in the hall and the boulder wall to prepare yourself for the 28 meter high outer wall or of course the climbing weekends.
I would also like to thank you all for reading this piece and the nice board year that I have
behind you.
Sincerely,
The little Viking
