The long-awaited chairman column...

On behalf of the PubliCie. we have finally been able to attend the former chairman to the matter of the tradition of the chairman column written for the PubliCie. Hence, this was neatly written, and we can present it to you!

For me, it has been an eventful year. We have been able to achieve a great deal, but we have not done so much; we have had a lot of meetings, but time has surely flown by; climbed little, but still survived the year.

We were hammered in in February. Soon we noticed that it was going to be a special year. It would not be a lot of climbing - although I have had that illusion for a long time. We also quickly found out that it was going to be a year full of paperwork. Instead of often going on climbing weekends and being on the campsite with fellow TSAC people, we were forced to dive into the books.

After my board year, however, I fell into a bit of a black hole. For an entire year you have been so connected to an association without personal contact with the members at the climbing wall or in the hall, but still it all feels so far away, and so long ago. Fortunately, I was still able to stay active at the PubliCie. (superb'vo, nicest committee of the TSAC), where I was able to vent my heart in nice bits, gossip, quotes and did-you-know-thats. Moreover, I then continued with another sport, to work off the board kilos a bit... That's the sport that suits me and my origin best - and I've also joined the appropriate club for it:

D.H.C. Drienerlo, or the Drienerlose Hockey Club!
